The First Walk!

Yesterday was such an amazing experience. Hundreds of people came out to help us in our goal of "Taking care of those left behind..."

Activities included a bounce house, obstacle course, face painter, clown, cotton candy, silent auction, raffle items, & food. We even had the Vikings Cheerleaders, Coon Rapids Police Department & Coon Rapids Fire Department come out!

A Foundation member teared up as she relived what she was feeling while watching the crowd of hundreds start the Run/Walk "I can't even explain the feeling watching them take off. It was a sea of blue.."

Thank you all so much for joining us in the first year of The Baby Angels Foundation... there were many bumps, bruises and barriers along the way.. but we did it! We look forward to many more events in the years to come.

Bunker Hills Park - Coon Rapids, MN

We had a chance to visit Bunker Hills Park, the location of our walk, today. It's absolutely gorgeous and we CAN'T WAIT for you all to join us! The park has many features... and multiple pavilions... we'll be located in the largest pavilion (pictured below)..

Activities at the walk will include a bounce house...

obstacle course...

silent auction... raffles... DJ and much much more!!! Bunker Hills also features a large grass area where your kids can run freely and play on the playground.

Time Is Running Out!!!

The 2010 Baby Angels Foundation 5K Run/Walk to Remember is just over a month away!!

Please remember to register in advance! If you would like to participate, but can't, you can 'spirit walk' to raise money for the foundation and help those that have lost a child.

We're also still looking for silent auction items so if you are able to donate/know someone who can donate please send comment below!

We will have: Face Painting, a 2K Family Walk, 5K Run, Bounce Houses, Lunch (food & drink), Grab Bags, Silent Auction, Raffle, Vikings Cheerleaders, Coon Rapids FD & PD, and lots more!!!

Progress!

We're making such progress... with the help of so many great people our website is up and running! Things are falling into place for our pancake breakfast as well as Run/Walk to Remember... and it's all because of the fantastic team working behind the scenes.

Everyone involved in the Baby Angels Foundation is like a piece of a puzzle... and we seem to complete each other. I'm so happy to be involved with such a great foundation... and I can't wait to see what we're able to accomplish together!

The First Annual 5K Run/Walk To Remember

Come join us for our first Annual 5k Run/Walk to Remember! The Baby Angels Foundation is a non profit organization that's mission is to raise awareness of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death). There will be a 5k Run, as well as a 5k Family walk! A silent auction will be held, as well as face painting and lunch!
